Our client, a transportation service provider, aimed to modernize its taxi operations by replacing outdated manual booking processes with a digital, real-time solution. Serving a market with high expectations for service quality and strong digital adoption, the client needed a system that could meet the demands of both tech-savvy customers and regulatory standards. The goal was to increase operational efficiency, reduce response times, and offer a seamless booking experience.
Solution
To meet the client’s need for a modern, digital taxi dispatch system, Hymux Technologies developed a robust multi-interface solution consisting of customer and driver mobile apps, a web-based dispatch dashboard, and a scalable server-side backend.

1) Mobile customer interface – a user-friendly mobile app allowing customers to:
- Log in securely
- Check taxi availability within a selected region
- Book a taxi with a single tap
- Monitor the driver’s real-time location
- Rate the driver after each trip
2) Mobile driver interface – a dedicated mobile app enabling drivers to:
- Log in and select/change their service regions
- Receive and accept/deny orders
- See order list, customer’s location on a map, proposed route to customer
- See basic notifications from dispatch (text messages)
- Monitor ratings entered by customers

3) Web-based dispatch interface – a powerful admin portal used by dispatchers to:
- Manage customer and driver accounts
- Monitor ride activity in real time
- Manually assign or reassign taxi orders when needed
4) System management & CRM integration:
- Centralized user management
- Integration with the client’s CRM for customer data synchronization

Challenges
One of the biggest challenges was making sure the app worked in real time for everyone—customers, drivers, and dispatchers. Information like driver location and new ride requests had to update instantly to keep things running smoothly. We also needed to design the app so that anyone could use it easily, whether they were very comfortable with technology or not.
Another important task was connecting the new system to the client’s existing CRM, so customer data could flow without issues. Finally, we had to make sure the system could handle lots of users at the same time, especially during busy hours in cities.
